About This Course
This course trains mechanics to carry out vehicle WOF inspections correctly, covering both theory and practical elements. It prepares participants for the NZTA inspector exam by providing an in-depth understanding of vehicle inspection requirements and the Vehicle Inspection Requirements Manual (VIRM). The programme includes customer service, vehicle systems assessment, and documentation procedures. Completion of the course grants an Otago Polytechnic Certificate of Attendance, but further approval from NZTA is required to become a vehicle inspector.
