What you need to know first

NCEA Level 1 with 10 credits in Numeracy (algebra, trigonometry, measurement recommended) and 10 credits in Literacy

Demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills (for those not meeting NCEA Level 1 requirement)

IELTS General or Academic score of 5 with no band lower than 5 (for non-native English speakers), or NZ Certificate in English Language L3 (endorsed General, Workplace, or Academic), or as per NZQF Programme and Accreditation Rules 2013
