It delivers updated theory and hands-on practice in drug assisted airway management through online modules and a single-day face-to-face practical session.

- Pharmacology relevant to drug assisted airway management
- DAAM procedures
- Recognition and troubleshooting of difficult airways
- Mechanical ventilation review
- Skill stations (ventilator troubleshooting, airway assessment, reasoning for RSI/DSI/truncated intubation, cricothyroidotomy, inotropic support)
- Clinical simulations
- Case study discussions
- Compulsory formative MCQ assessment
What you need to know first
Primarily for prehospital emergency services and intensive care paramedics with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) endorsement, or those wishing to gain this endorsement.
Must be a health professional working in the emergency or paramedicine sector.
