Designed for those with an undergraduate degree, the Graduate Diploma in Arts allows learners to broaden their expertise or transition to a new field in as little as one year. Students can select courses from a wide range of areas, including creative writing, criminology, education, event management, global tourism, international studies, interpreting, Māori development, NZ Sign Language, psychology, and social sciences. The programme prepares graduates for postgraduate study or career advancement and is available full-time or part-time at AUT’s City and North Campuses.

A bachelor’s degree OR a relevant professional qualification or experience (at least five years) approved by the Dean (or representative) as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
