What You're Signing Up For
The Diploma in Arts (DipArts) provides an opportunity to study arts subjects at university level without the commitment of a full three-year bachelor's degree. The program offers flexibility to choose from a broad selection of courses within the arts, humanities, social sciences, and related areas, with a compulsory foundation course focusing on academic skills or bicultural identity. Courses completed may be credited towards a Bachelor of Arts if desired.

- Compulsory foundational course (choose one: ARTS102, MAOR165, or WRIT101)
- Up to 105 points of elective courses from areas including: Anthropology, Art History and Theory, Chinese, Cinema Studies, Classics, Community Music, Cultural Studies, Digital Humanities, Economics, Education, English, European and European Union Studies, French, Geography, German, History, Human Services, Japanese, Linguistics, Māori and Indigenous Studies, Mathematics, Media and Communication, Music, Pacific Studies, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology, Russian, Sociology, Spanish, Statistics, Te Reo Māori
