The New Zealand Diploma in Enrolled Nursing (Level 5) at Manukau Institute of Technology is designed to launch a career as an enrolled nurse. Students will acquire critical skills through theoretical study and hands-on clinical experience in modern facilities and a variety of healthcare environments. Graduates are eligible to sit the State Examination and apply for registration as an enrolled nurse in New Zealand. The course includes academic and practical components, development of professional identity, and preparation for work in areas such as acute care, rehabilitation, mental health, and community settings.
