This is a mix of online learning & face-to-face sessions
Available in 2 locations
It will take a total of 3 years
This course requires 40 hours per week
Graduates will safely assess, plan, and deliver nursing care for individuals, whānau, and communities in areas such as aged care, emergency, medical, surgical, mental health, and community services.

Students will integrate biomedical, pharmacological, and psychosocial sciences in patient assessment and care delivery.
Selected entry: submission of CV, references (school/institution and employer or community group representative), police vetting (NZ and overseas if applicable), Health and Disability Declaration
May be required to attend an interview
Immunisation as per NZ healthcare professional standards (Hepatitis B, Varicella, Measles, Pertussis, TB, COVID-19 etc., to be completed by 31 March)
CPR First Aid Certificate (minimum, to be completed by 31 March)
Completion of VCA 2014 Questionnaire (at orientation)
Signed Professional Conduct and Confidentiality document (at orientation)
If English is not first language: Minimum IELTS 6.5 in all bands (or approved equivalent), test within the last 2 years
