What You're Signing Up For
The Master of Clinical Practice (Nursing) at Massey University is a selected-entry, full-time postgraduate programme designed to prepare students for registration as a nurse in New Zealand. The degree incorporates theoretical health and nursing knowledge, applied science, and extensive supervised clinical experiences in collaboration with a variety of healthcare settings. The curriculum addresses the professional, regulatory, ethical, and practical requirements of nursing and includes both distance/online and on-campus block courses, culminating in a minimum of 1000 clinical learning hours. Graduates meet all Nursing Council of New Zealand attributes for registration and are equipped for diverse careers and further study in the nursing field.

- Complex Partnerships I: Acute care, trauma, distress, practicum
- Complex Partnerships II [Transition to Practice]: Extended practicum, novice nurse realities
- Scholarship for Clinical Practice: Evidence-based nursing practice
- Leadership in Nursing Practice Project: Evidence-based change in practice
- 1000 hours of clinical placement in a variety of settings including surgical, emergency, medical, mental health, and primary care
