About This Course
Expand your practice and career opportunities as a nurse practitioner. This four-year part-time master's programme blends online study with up to 20 required in-person days in Christchurch and at least 500 hours of supervised clinical practice. You'll complete key courses in advanced pathophysiology, health assessment, pharmacology, professional practice, and evidence-based care, culminating in the Nurse Practitioner Practicum. Graduates are eligible to apply to the Nursing Council of New Zealand for registration as a mātanga tapuhi | nurse practitioner.
