Face-to-face learning in a physical classroom setting

Participants will be able to apply the most current best-practice maternal and neonatal emergency resuscitation techniques.

Participants will develop competency in identifying and effectively responding to events such as post-partum haemorrhage, uterine inversion, maternal collapse, shoulder dystocia, and undiagnosed breech.

The Midwifery Emergency Refresher course is designed to help practicing midwives maintain recertification and stay current with the latest knowledge and techniques in maternal and neonatal emergency procedures. Delivered in a one-day, hands-on format, the course provides up-to-date methods for recognizing and responding to critical birthing emergencies including post-partum hemorrhage, uterine inversion, maternal collapse, and neonatal resuscitation. Training is conducted using an advanced simulation model enabling midwives to practice best-practice emergency response.
