What You're Signing Up For

The Master of Engineering Project Management at AUT is the first in New Zealand designed specifically for practising engineers and new graduates wanting to advance their project management and leadership abilities. The programme covers design, funding, engineering assembly processes, corporate responsibility, finance, and people management skills required in contemporary engineering businesses. Courses are delivered flexibly, with options for block courses and online study, making it ideal for working professionals. Graduates will be prepared for senior project management and leadership roles in engineering and construction industries.

  • ENGE813 Advanced Integrated Project Management (Semester 1, 15 points)
  • ENGE815 Engineering Corporate Social Responsibility (Semester 1, 15 points)
  • ENGE814 Economics and Finance for Engineers (Semester 2, 15 points)
  • Electives: Choose two from:
  • ENBU812 Engineering Resource Efficiency (Semester 1, 15 points)
  • ENBU811 Built Asset Management (Semester 2, 15 points)
  • ENBU821 Engineering Supply Chain Management (Semester 2, 15 points)

What you need to know first

Relevant four-year bachelor’s degree with B grade average or higher OR

Relevant bachelor’s degree with honours with B grade average or higher OR

Relevant postgraduate diploma with B grade average or higher

Relevant project engineering or managerial professional experience approved by the Dean (or representative)

International: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher, or equivalent
