In-person study
Face-to-face learning in a physical classroom setting
It will take a total of 21 months

Develop the ability to manage complex projects including procurement, scheduling, and supervision.

Gain skills to select the appropriate materials and components for durability and specific performance requirements.

Be able to prepare quotes, create professional working drawings, and plan fabrication processes.
The NZ Apprenticeship in Advanced Textiles builds on prior experience in industrial textile fabrication or trimming, equipping learners with advanced technical skills, project management expertise, and leadership abilities to progress into senior roles in the industry. Learners formalise their skills, specialise in either fabrication or trimming, and receive dedicated support throughout their apprenticeship.
