About This Course
A work-based apprenticeship in industrial and advanced textiles offers strands in fabrication or trimming, aligned to your workplace. With a wide range of applications, you could work on marine and vehicle upholstery, industrial and canvas coverings for transport, agriculture, and outdoor use, as well as large-scale architectural structures.
Course Content
- Level 3 – Build Your Foundations: Develop core skills in workplace safety, material preparation, and basic fabrication or trimming. Learn to cut, shape, join and assemble materials, building confidence for consistent work across varied environments.
- Level 4 – Advance Your Expertise: Progress to complex, custom projects while building skills in advanced techniques, planning and project management. Gain specialist capability in pattern development, precision work and largescale assembly, with transferable skills for a range of industries.
