This apprenticeship programme provides learners with the technical and practical skills required to work as an unsupervised yacht rigger in the marine industry. Training includes both workplace experience and online/self-study modules. Topics cover workplace health and safety, sustainability, materials, team dynamics, tools and equipment, calculations, technical rigging skills, interpreting drawings, and yacht rig design. Graduates will be equipped to join the marine sector in roles such as Engineering Technician or in system service and repair.
