Implement health and safety procedures relevant to composite spar making and marine industry workplaces.

Identify, select, and work with appropriate composite materials for yacht spar construction and maintenance.
The Yacht Spar Making - Composite Apprenticeship equips students to become skilled composite yacht spar makers, able to work independently in the marine industry. The program covers workplace health and safety, sustainability, materials, technical skills, teamwork, use of tools and equipment, calculations, engineering drawings, and yacht rig design, preparing graduates for employment as engineering technicians and system service & repair roles in marine settings.
