This Level 3 certificate program offers practical and theoretical training for aspiring refrigeration and air conditioning technicians. Over one year full-time, students gain expertise in installing, assembling, maintaining and servicing refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including electrical safety, welding, and site safety practices. The program facilitates apprenticeship completion acceleration and prepares students for employment as trades assistants or technicians. It includes hands-on learning in state-of-the-art facilities and covers engineering principles, refrigeration systems, and safe work practices. The program is delivered at the award-winning MIT TechPark campus and does not require prior academic qualifications for entry.
