Effectively fight fires in smoke-filled or enclosed spaces while wearing a self-contained breathing apparatus.
This 1.5-day short course is for holders of STCW Certificates of Competency, such as Master, Mate, Deck Officer, Marine Engineer Officer, or Able Seafarer, who require refresher training in fire prevention and fire fighting as per international maritime regulations (Section A-VI/1-2 of STCW 1978, as amended). The course ensures learners can maintain competency in preventing and fighting fires aboard ships using industry-standard techniques and equipment.

Current medical examination certificate issued by an approved General Practitioner (e.g. Seafarers Medical or equivalent)
