This course is designed for holders of the STCW Personal Survival Techniques Certificate who require refresher training to maintain their competencies as required by international maritime regulations. The program enables students to update and demonstrate skills in personal survival, specifically per Section A-VI/1-1 of the STCW convention. Topics include lifejacket use, immersion suits, survival swimming, and liferaft inversion procedures. Successful completion results in a Personal Survival Techniques Refresher certificate, with courses scheduled conveniently for those also taking the Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting refresher.
