Develop and expand knowledge of own and other cultures and values, and understand their impact on communication in New Zealand's diverse society.

Develop personal goal-setting skills and evaluate individual qualities, skills, and strengths to build confidence in future study or work.

Acquire foundational programming knowledge and skills relevant to engineering contexts.
This Level 3 certificate is designed for students who wish to pursue personal and foundational academic skills for further engineering study or entry-level employment. The programme builds communication, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and equips learners with basic programming, maths relevant to engineering, and drawing skills. Cultural understanding and design project work are also included.
