What You're Signing Up For
The Master of Engineering (ME) at the University of Canterbury is a research-focused degree designed to develop advanced technical expertise, independent problem-solving abilities, and research capability. Completed via thesis and, in some specialisations, additional coursework, the degree encompasses a variety of engineering fields, including but not limited to bioengineering, civil, chemical, construction management, earthquake, electrical and electronic, mechanical, software, and transportation engineering. Graduates are well-prepared for roles in engineering research, specialist engineering, or progression to doctoral studies.

- Advanced coursework supporting research (up to 45 points where required)

What you need to know first
Normally a BE(Hons) or BSc(Hons) with First or Second Class Honours in a relevant subject, or a Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering with a GPA of 5 or more.
