About This Course
The Master of Product Design (MProdDesign) at the University of Canterbury prepares graduates for the dynamic consumer market by developing advanced technical, design, and business skills. This interdisciplinary programme utilises the university's research expertise across commerce, IT, and engineering. Students undertake compulsory and elective courses and complete a significant supervised research thesis. UC offers dedicated facilities, including design studios, laboratories, workshops, AR/VR equipment, and opportunities to research, create, and market new products.
