About This Course
The Postgraduate Diploma in Science and Technology (PGDipScTech) at Massey University is intended for students with an undergraduate science degree who wish to undertake further study without a research emphasis. This flexible programme offers a range of specialisations, allows for part-time or full-time study, and supports international and distance students. Graduates may further proceed to a master's qualification. The diploma comprises 120 credits and includes both core courses and electives tailored to students' backgrounds and interests.

- Advanced study in specialisations including Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Biological Sciences, Earth Science, Ecology and Conservation, Horticultural Science, Plant Breeding, Psychology, Zoology, and more.
- Options to study with or without a specialisation (endorsement).
- Elective courses from Schedule B (e.g. Special Topics, Research Methods in Chemistry and Nanoscience, Advanced Chemical Synthesis, Workplace-based Learning in the Sciences).
- Research skills and project development.
- Opportunities for workplace-based, portfolio learning in sciences.
- Core knowledge relevant to chosen science/technology field.
Entry Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with a major in the intended postgraduate subject and a minimum B- average in 300-level major courses
