What You're Signing Up For
The GradDipSci allows students who already hold a Bachelor of Science degree to deepen their expertise by selecting advanced undergraduate courses in science. Students have the flexibility to choose from a wide range of science subjects, either to complement their existing major or explore new fields. This diploma serves both as professional development and as a pathway to further postgraduate study. A project or dissertation may be included upon approval. The programme structure emphasizes advanced-level courses and subject depth.
Course Content
- 120 points of courses, typically 15 points each
- At least 75 points at Stage III (advanced undergraduate level)
- At least 60 points must be from a subject major listed in the BSc schedule, including Stage III courses for that major
- Option to include a project or dissertation (up to 30 points, subject to approval)
- Opportunity to choose a second major, extend a current field, or study a new science discipline
