Participants will develop skills to maintain time and rhythm during improvisational playing.
The Improvisation Workshop is an immersive, five-day course focused on building confidence, fluency, and practical skills in musical improvisation. Participants engage each day with integrated theory, hands-on playing, and group sessions. The programme covers scales, rhythm, vocabulary, contour, harmony (for pianists), and deep listening, with the added value of mentorship, peer feedback, and a supportive musical community. The course concludes with participants having a robust roadmap for their ongoing improvisation journey.

Let's Go Music is for people who have always taken music seriously, even if life has not always made it easy to act on. Their fully online programmes are NZQA-accredited and taught by working musicians and industry professionals, so the learning is both flexible and genuinely credible. You get qualifications that count, from tutors who are still active in the field.
