The Music Diploma (Performance) leads to the New Zealand Diploma in Performing Arts (Level 5) and provides a robust foundation for a career as a performing musician. Students gain practical and theoretical expertise in music through intensive block courses, develop strong core musicianship, and build up their creative, analytical, and performance abilities. Certificate in Music (Creativity) Level 4 or NCEA Level 2 or equivalent
Interview/audition (musical proficiency required: pitch, time)
IELTS General or Academic 5.5 (no band below 5) or equivalent if English is not the first language
