Learn how the types of food we eat impact health across different life stages, from 0 to 65+.

Acquire skills to adapt and improve everyday traditional foods for healthier eating.
The Certificate of Proficiency in Pacific Nutrition is aimed primarily at Pacific workers but is open to anyone working with Pacific communities. The course educates participants about the relationship between food types and health, with a focus on making traditional foods healthier for all life stages. It incorporates a 'train the trainer' approach to empower participants to support families, communities, and workplaces with healthy nutrition information. Delivered over 12 weeks either fully online or in a blended format (face-to-face in Ellerslie, Auckland, and online), the course is run in partnership with AUT and the Heart Foundation.
