About This Course

Study the Bachelor of Health Science in Public and Environmental Health at AUT and develop the skills and knowledge to address critical health challenges facing society. This major covers public and environmental health, advocacy, research, policy, equity and social justice, interdisciplinary teamwork, codesign and digital media, workplace learning, and leadership, underpinned by Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a strong equity and holistic wellbeing focus. Graduates are prepared to influence and implement programmes for healthier individuals and communities in both public and private sectors.

University Entrance (NCEA Level 3) or equivalent
