The Master of Public Health (MPH) is designed for students aspiring to work in the public health sector. The programme offers advanced education in disease prevention, health promotion, epidemiology, health management, and policy development. Students may follow either a taught or research pathway (120 or 240 points), and graduates will be equipped for roles involving disease surveillance, policy making, and public health management in Aotearoa New Zealand or internationally. The MPH is recognised as Part I of the training for a Public Health Registrar.
