The New Zealand Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways (Level 4) at Toi Ohomai is designed for students who aim to progress into diploma or degree study but do not yet meet entry criteria or require greater learning confidence. This programme builds communication competence, tertiary study skills, and offers introductions to biophysical health and human development, providing pathways into a broad range of further qualifications, including nursing, teaching, business, engineering, and more. The certificate supports both study and employment aspirations and is intended to increase readiness and confidence for the next educational or career step.
Entry Requirements
A minimum of 40 credits at NCEA Level 2 across four subjects, including 10 credits at Level 2 or above in Literacy (at least 5 in reading and 5 in writing) and 10 credits at Level 1 or above in Numeracy.
