This one-year health and wellbeing course equips you to work alongside individuals, families, and whānau accessing social and community services. It covers tools for mental health and/or addiction support, fostering autonomy, resilience, and hope. The flexible programme blends weekly face-to-face sessions with independent study or workplace placement, including 200 hours of practicum in a relevant setting.
Entry Requirements
40 credits at NCEA Level 1 including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits, or recognised equivalent
A relevant qualification at NZQF Level 3 or recognised equivalent qualification, or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience

Applicants not meeting academic entry can apply for Discretionary Entrance based on likely success

Candidates for online cohort: minimum 12 hours/week paid or voluntary work in health or wellbeing sector
