Be able to critically evaluate information on socio-physical phenomena, integrating theory and practical application.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Land and Society is a specialised, advanced programme exploring the interaction of humanity with physical and natural environments. It equips students with both theoretical understanding and practical application in socio-physical phenomena, promoting critical evaluation, quantitative and qualitative research skills, and problem-solving. Graduates can apply their learning in real-world scenarios or use this certificate as a stepping stone towards a Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s degree.
What you need to know first
Completion of a relevant New Zealand level 7 bachelor’s degree or recognised equivalent with a B- average or better in the 300 level and final year (full-time equivalent) courses.
