Gain the equivalent of an undergraduate major in a chosen subject area, enabling eligibility for postgraduate qualifications in arts fields.
The Graduate Diploma in Arts is designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree and want to expand into the arts, humanities, and social sciences, or who wish to gain the equivalent of an undergraduate major for entry into postgraduate study. It can be completed in one year of full-time study and offers the option to specialise in subjects such as languages, history, philosophy, psychology, economics, Māori studies, education, and more. The programme equips graduates with analytical, problem-solving, and research skills relevant for a wide range of professional and academic pathways.
