The Master of Māori Studies – MMāoriS advances knowledge in mātauranga Māori through in-depth research, critical inquiry, and applied practice. Students tailor their learning through specialisations in te reo (language), hauora (wellbeing), critical studies in Māori development, and Māori education. The programme supports leadership, innovation, and positive impact within Māori communities and across a range of settings including governmental, iwi, educational, and corporate organisations. Designed for graduates wishing to deepen expertise and contribute towards Māori aspirations and community transformation.
