What You're Signing Up For
The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) is a one-year programme for graduates of the BA to deepen their knowledge in a chosen academic area. The programme involves advanced taught courses and a research component under the supervision of leading scholars. The BA(Hons) allows students to strengthen their understanding in their field or explore a new area with appropriate background. It serves as either a standalone postgraduate qualification or a pathway to Master's study, developing advanced research, analysis, and transferable skills valued in many careers.
Course Content
- Advanced taught courses (75 or 90 points)
- Small research project such as a dissertation (usually 30 or 45 points)
- Up to 30 points may be included from other subjects
- Programme structure depends on subject chosen
- Full time (1 year) or part time (up to 2 years)
