About This Course
The Diploma in Arts (DipArts) at the University of Canterbury is a one-year programme designed for students who wish to study Arts subjects without committing to a full three-year bachelor's degree. Students select courses from a wide range of Arts and Social Sciences subjects, and complete a foundational course in academic writing, evidence analysis, or bicultural identity. The Diploma offers pathways into the Bachelor of Arts and other degrees, with the flexibility of full-time or part-time study.

- Choice of one compulsory course: ARTS102 Problems, Questions, Evidence OR MAOR165 Tuakiri: Culture and Identity OR WRIT101 Writing for Academic Success
