Gain foundational and advanced knowledge of sport, movement, exercise science, and health, with an emphasis on improving wellbeing of individuals and communities.

Acquire skills in leadership, sport management, and project planning within sport and recreation contexts.

Build workplace experience through cooperative education, engaging directly with industry partners.
The Bachelor of Sport, Exercise and Health at AUT prepares students to address wellbeing for people and communities through sport, exercise, and healthy living. With an emphasis on both theory and practical workplace experience, you will gain a sound understanding of sport, movement, leadership, physical education, health and exercise science. The degree offers flexibility through its choice of majors, minors, and elective options, and integrates Māori perspectives and Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
