Face-to-face learning in a physical classroom setting

It will take a total of 6 months

Build confidence and capability in academic writing, communication, computer literacy, and time management to succeed in university-level studies.

Gain a practical understanding of coaching, sport, exercise, health, and wellbeing, and how these apply to sport and recreation contexts.

Be equipped to staircase into the Bachelor of Sport, Exercise and Health or other health sciences-related degrees.
The Certificate in Sport and Recreation is aimed at students who did not gain university entrance in Year 13. It provides foundational knowledge and skills in sport, recreation, coaching, health, and academic skills. It also prepares students for future study, including staircasing into a Bachelor of Sport, Exercise and Health or Health Sciences degree.
What you need to know first
Completion of Year 13 (or equivalent qualification from another country).
Applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis if their academic record shows reasonable potential for success.
