About This Course

The Certificate in Sport and Recreation at AUT is aimed at developing the skills and knowledge necessary for further tertiary study or a career in the sport and recreation sector or health sciences. The programme builds confidence and core skills including academic writing, communication, computer literacy, and time management, as well as foundational understanding in coaching, health and wellbeing, and sport and fitness. It is especially suitable for students without University Entrance who wish to progress into a relevant bachelor's degree.
