Design exercise programs applying biomechanical, nutritional, and physiological principles.
The Certificate of Proficiency in Fitness Foundations at AUT is designed to provide you with the scientific skills and knowledge needed for a career in the exercise, sport, and fitness industries. The course covers anatomy, physiology, nutrition, fitness assessment, and exercise prescription and serves as the first step towards becoming a qualified personal trainer or fitness instructor.
