Gain skills to develop class designs, use instruction concepts, and deliver purposeful, dynamic group fitness sessions.

Learn basic techniques and instruction for music-based classes, indoor cycling, and resistance training sessions.
This course provides the foundation for instructing group fitness classes. Students learn about the social dynamics of group exercise, how to design and instruct effective classes, and develop proficiency in techniques used for music-based, indoor cycling, and resistance training group modalities. The course is suitable for aspiring group exercise instructors and provides recognition aligned with Exercise New Zealand and REPs upon completion alongside a prerequisite foundation course.
