The Master of Sport, Exercise and Health at AUT is designed for those seeking to deepen their understanding of the sport industry and undertake research in sport, exercise, and health. The flexible programme allows students to specialise in health and physical education, sport leadership and management, or strength and conditioning, or create a bespoke pathway from a wide range of courses. Central to the programme is either a dissertation or thesis, supervised by leading staff. Students benefit from options for online learning or face-to-face classes at North Campus, with a strong focus on mātauranga Māori. Graduates enter careers in performance analysis, sport management, exercise physiology, and more.
