Graduates can carry out daily tasks and routines expected of a snowsport patroller, including monitoring and maintaining safety in recreational snowsport environments.

This programme is designed for those working in the snowsport industry, equipping learners to perform daily ski patrol functions, emergency care, rescue, hazard management, and avalanche control services in snowsport areas. Graduates will be able to work independently and as part of a patrol team under supervision, providing vital safety and rescue services on the mountain.

Must be working in the snowsport sector (paid, self-employed, or volunteer with regular and consistent shifts)
Access to an approved employer for participation (programme only available through specific employers)

Blended study
This is a mix of online learning & face-to-face sessions
It will take a total of 35 weeks
