Cert 4 Fitness (Level 4) at Toi Ohomai is a full-time, one-year course designed to equip students with skills for the fitness industry. Students earn the New Zealand Certificate in Exercise (Level 4) and New Zealand Certificate in Freestyle Group Exercise (Level 4), both nationally recognised and REPS-accredited. Students develop practical knowledge in nutrition, anatomy, physiology, fitness instruction, business skills, and group class delivery, while experiencing diverse learning opportunities, including field trips and client-focused activities. The course blends theory and 'doing' to prepare graduates for varied fitness and exercise career pathways.
