The Bachelor of Teaching is a three-year degree designed to prepare students to become registered teachers in Aotearoa New Zealand. Students will develop deep understanding of educational theory, curriculum, learning and development across the lifespan, culturally responsive teaching, and classroom practice. The degree includes substantial practical experience from Year 1, with streams available for Early Childhood and Primary, and delivery options on campus or primarily online. Graduates are equipped to teach in early childhood, primary, or secondary settings, and are eligible for a provisional practising certificate. The programme is well regarded for its strong partnerships with schools, extensive practicum components, and flexibility in study options.
