About This Course
The Adventure Tourism and Guiding (Level 5) diploma prepares students for a career in the adventure tourism industry by developing guiding, instructional, and leadership skills in outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, and canyoning. Most learning takes place outdoors through collaboration with respected industry partners, and students gain practical experience in the region’s field environments. The programme includes multi-day expeditions, industry practice, and workplace training, with an emphasis on personal and professional growth, teamwork, risk management, and leadership.
