This 16-week Certificate in Flight Attending & Aviation equips students with essential aviation knowledge and practical skills required for roles such as flight attendant, cabin crew member, or airline operations staff. The course covers customer service, grooming, safety and emergency procedures, communication, responsible alcohol service, aviation medicine, and first aid. Flexible class schedules and hands-on training in a simulated cabin environment are included. Graduates will be well-prepared for further study and immediate entry into the aviation and tourism industries.
What you need to know first
Must be 18 or over upon completion of the qualification.
Achieved a minimum of NCEA Level 2 (with recommended subjects including literacy and numeracy), or acceptable equivalent overseas.

OR completed a Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in Tourism, Travel or Hospitality.
Special admission may be granted for relevant prior learning or work experience.
Must be able to gain a passport without restrictions.
Must meet CAA or NZDF security vetting standards.
Must be able to swim specified distances in certain conditions.
