This diploma develops broad management skills with a sustainability focus for those aiming for supervisory positions in the tourism and travel industry. The curriculum covers tourism operations, Māori values such as manaakitanga and whanaungatanga, and includes hands-on experiences through field trips and tourism activities. Graduates will be equipped to implement processes that support visitors and evaluate tourism environments at various levels.
Entry Requirements
Minimum NCEA Level 2 including 10 literacy credits, or equivalent (NCEA Level 3 preferred)
International: Equivalent secondary school qualification
