Synthesize and resolve ideas and solve problems using investigative tools, creative processes, methods and technologies.

Critically analyse research to support development of ideas and position work within creative arts conventions and contexts.
New Zealand’s first project-based creative degree, the Bachelor of Creative Practice enables students to explore and specialise in creative disciplines through real-life and on-campus projects. The programme covers visual arts, design, fashion, music, and screen production, teaching essential technical, professional, and creative skills. Applicants over 20 years with capability evidence accepted
Hand-written letter of application and portfolio of work required
English language fluency (e.g., NZ Certificate L4 Academic, IELTS 6.0 with no band below 5.5)
Musician (singer, guitarist, producer, composer, sound technician)
Film industry roles (director, producer, scriptwriter, set and lighting technician)
Designer (graphic, web, animation, costume, branding, furniture)
Curator (gallery, museum)
Educator (secondary teaching, workshop facilitation)
