The Introduction to Ceramics Night Class at Otago Polytechnic offers practical, hands-on learning in a studio environment, focusing on clay-working techniques suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. Students will engage in experiments with hand-building, wheel throwing, glaze mixing and application, and basic firing techniques. The classes take place at the well-equipped Ceramic Studio within the Dunedin School of Art, providing a safe and sociable environment.
What you need to know first
Students must be over 16 years of age.
Learners under 16 require parental consent.
