Learners will be able to control and combine aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to achieve desired photographic effects.
This short night class is designed for beginners who want to get to grips with the fundamentals of digital photography. Covering technical aspects of camera control (shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, RAW), the course also introduces digital editing using Adobe Photoshop and Bridge. Delivered in the Dunedin School of Art, it features practical sessions and small weekly homework tasks to help build confidence and skills using your own digital camera. Suitable for anyone new to photography or looking to get more out of their camera.
Entry Requirements
A digital camera with manual settings.
A portable storage device (portable hard drive or USB thumb drive).
