This course requires 2 hours per week

Learn how to use aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to achieve the desired photographic results.

Gain practical experience in using white balance and focus settings for digital cameras.

Apply basic editing techniques using Adobe Bridge and Photoshop, including black and white and RAW photo processing.
This night class teaches beginners how to use a digital camera's manual settings—including exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance—and introduces basic editing in Adobe Photoshop. It covers post-production, sorting, filing digital photographs, and some homework is included. Suitable for people who are new to digital photography and want confidence and technical skill to get the most from their camera.

Some basic computer use is helpful.
Learners under 16 need parental consent.
