Life Drawing night class at Otago Polytechnic's Dunedin School of Art is designed for those with previous drawing experience who wish to further develop their technique and perceptual skills. This class aims to expand students' ability to observe and express perception through drawing, with a focus on the human figure as subject. Sessions prioritise the drawing experience over final outcomes and encourage an open, exploratory approach. Classes are held in the Life Drawing Room and use nude models. Enrolment is by term, with materials provided by students. Learners under 16 require parental consent.
